The K-72X remote-controlled planetary floor grinder combines heavy-duty mechanical grinding performance with operator-focused electronic controls. Wireless Remote-Controlled Operation

The K-72X features a wireless remote control system that allows operators to control the machine from a convenient working position rather than continuously remaining directly behind the grinder.

Remote operation is particularly useful for large warehouses, factories, commercial buildings and other projects involving long grinding passes. The operator can observe the grinding path and surrounding floor area while controlling machine movement from a suitable position.

For contractors operating large-area floor preparation projects, this makes the K-72X fundamentally different from the standard manually controlled K-72. Wireless remote control is one of the three exclusive control features identified for the K-72X in the current specification.

20 HP Heavy-Duty Grinding Power

A 20 HP / 15 kW three-phase grinding motor provides the power required for demanding concrete grinding and industrial surface preparation.

Combined with the machine’s 670 kg weight, wide grinding path and adjustable counterweight system, the motor provides a substantial mechanical platform for surface opening, coating removal, hard concrete grinding and other applications requiring higher grinding pressure.

Tool speed can be adjusted from 0 to 1,500 rpm, allowing machine operation to be adapted to different diamond tools, floor conditions and stages of the grinding and polishing process.

700mm Four-Head Planetary Grinding System

The K-72X uses four 252 mm tool holders working across a 700 mm grinding width.

The planetary configuration produces overlapping tool paths across the floor and distributes grinding contact over the wide working area. This makes the machine suitable for high-productivity surface preparation as well as progressive grinding and polishing where uniform floor treatment is important.

The 700 mm width also allows more floor area to be covered per grinding pass compared with smaller machines, making the K-72X particularly suited to medium and large commercial or industrial projects.

LCD Machine Monitoring Display

The integrated LCD display gives operators direct access to important machine operating information from the control area.

The K-72X documentation specifies monitoring of parameters such as motor RPM, operating current, working hours and equipment fault information. These real-time indicators can help operators observe machine loading, operating conditions and maintenance-related information during a project.

The LCD system is exclusive to the K-72X within the current K-72 platform and is not fitted to the standard K-72 model.

Laser Grinding Width Guide

A built-in laser width guide projects a visible reference that helps the operator judge the grinder’s working path across the floor.

On large open floors, visual guidance can make it easier to follow successive grinding passes and maintain more consistent coverage. It can also help operators recognize the approximate edge of the previously treated path when repositioning the machine for the next pass.

The laser width guide is another K-72X-exclusive feature and helps differentiate it from the mechanically focused K-72 configuration.

Integrated Grinding and Dust Extraction

The K-72X combines its planetary grinder and industrial dust extraction system in one machine platform.

A 3 kW vacuum motor provides up to 500 m³/h airflow and works with a 3.2 m² conical filter system. Dust generated around the grinding head can be collected during dry grinding, helping reduce loose dust around the immediate work area while eliminating the need to manage a completely separate vacuum machine for suitable applications.

This integrated architecture is especially valuable on large projects where contractors need to move grinding equipment repeatedly across the jobsite.

Four-Position Adjustable Counterweight System

The K-72X includes an integrated four-position adjustable counterweight system for changing machine balance and grinding pressure.

Operators can shift the counterweight configuration according to the application. Greater grinding-head pressure can support aggressive surface opening, coating removal and work on dense concrete, while alternative balance positions can provide more controlled operation for general grinding and polishing.

This helps one machine adapt to multiple stages of a flooring project instead of operating with a single fixed pressure configuration.

Manual and Automatic Filter Cleaning

Concrete grinding generates fine dust that gradually accumulates on filter surfaces and can reduce vacuum airflow.

The K-72X therefore provides manual and automatic filter cleaning, allowing accumulated material to be removed from the filter surface during operation and maintenance. This helps preserve airflow and reduces interruptions caused by excessive filter loading during extended dry grinding projects.

Sealed Dustproof Planetary Head

The planetary drive assembly is enclosed within a sealed dustproof grinding head designed to reduce exposure of internal drive components to abrasive concrete dust.
